Sydney Kahmann

Sydney Kahmann, PhD, currently serves as a Staff Data Scientist at Mozilla, with previous roles as Senior Inference Data Scientist and Inference Data Scientist. Kahmann earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where notable work included developing statistical tests for conditional independence hypotheses and leading an impact evaluation project on LAPD policy. As a co-founder and co-president of the Society of Women in Statistics at UCLA, Kahmann managed a team that organized professional events for the academic community. Additional experience includes statistical consulting, teaching assistance, and mentorship program leadership, all demonstrating strong expertise in statistical analysis, data modeling, and educational outreach.
