Tom Ritter

Tom Ritter is a Principal Engineer at Mozilla since January 2017, focusing on enhancing Firefox's security against exploitation. Prior experience includes serving as Practice Director of Cryptography Services at NCC Group from January 2012 to August 2016, where responsibilities encompassed penetration testing and management. Tom Ritter also worked as a Security Engineer at Gotham Digital Science LLC from October 2010 to December 2011, specializing in penetration testing. Earlier in their career, Tom was involved in product development at Capital IQ from June 2007 to October 2010, working with HTML, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. Additionally, Tom Ritter served as an Adjunct Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology from June 2007 to May 2009. Tom Ritter holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, earned between 2003 and 2007.
