Vasish Baungally

Vasish Baungally is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Mozilla since November 2022, with previous experience as a Software Engineer at Pulse - Automatic Status from June 2018 to November 2022, and as a Co-Founder at Fork It from September 2017 to June 2018. In the role at Fork It, Vasish developed a customizable group experience app utilizing Node.js for the backend and React Native for the frontend, integrating multiple APIs for seamless user experiences. Prior to this, Vasish served as a Research Assistant at the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics, focusing on the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation and conducting simulations with Arduino microcontrollers. Vasish holds a Bachelor's degree (Hons.) in Physics from the University of Chicago and is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology after completing a degree at Stanford University.
