Gabriel Roizner

CEO & co-Founder at Mozper

Gabriel Roizner is the CEO and co-founder of Mozper, a mobile banking startup based in Barcelona, Spain. Gabriel was previously the co-founder and CEO of TiZKKA, a Latin American fashion discovery platform acquired by Naspers in 2018.

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Roizner studied computer science at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro before starting their career in software engineering. In 2013, they co-founded TiZKKA with the goal of creating a fashion discovery platform for Latin American women. Under Roizner's leadership, TiZKKA became Latin America's #1 fashion discovery platform, with over 1.5 million downloads and an average rating of 4.4 on the App Store and Google Play.

In December 2017, Roizner led TiZKKA's acquisition by Naspers, one of the world's largest Internet companies. Following the acquisition, Roizner continued to lead TiZKKA as its CEO until December 2018. During their tenure as CEO, Roizner oversaw TiZKKA's product development, business development, marketing, and investor relations. Gabriel also spearheaded fundraising efforts, raising USD $1.3 million from angel investors and venture capitalists.

Under Roizner's leadership, TiZKKA grew rapidly, increasing its signup rate per install from 43% to 75% and tripling its stickiness (DAU/MAU). In addition, Roizner developed and executed successful paid and organic marketing campaigns across multiple channels in Latin America with a budget of over $650k. As a result of these efforts, they were able to reduce the Cost per Install (CPI) from $1.5 to $0.16 in less than 3 months.

In February 2017, Roizner participated in Google Launchpad Accelerator Batch 3. Gabriel is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

Gabriel Roizner's educational career began with him attending Y Combinator, where they studied computer science. Gabriel then went on to earn their M.Sc. in computer science from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble. Finally, they earned their B.Sc. in information systems engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
