Chris Avakian is an experienced audio engineer and stagehand with a diverse professional background in live sound and studio recording. Currently serving as a stagehand for IATSE Local 204 since January 2016 and as an audio engineer for MP Productions since September 2018, Avakian also owns and operates The Barn Studios, which has been in business since April 2000. Previous roles include FOH engineer positions at various venues such as Vinos BrewPub and Juanitas Cantina, and audio engineering work for Balance Lighting Systems. Education includes a degree from the Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts in 2004, complemented by extensive hands-on training.
