Michael Graves (Sean)

Michael "Sean" Graves is an experienced lighting designer and project manager with a robust career in the theatre industry. Currently, Graves serves as the Lighting Designer for Miami Childrens Theatre since April 2023. Prior experience includes a long-term role as Project Manager at MP Productions since October 2009, and serving as Lighting Director at Robinson Center Music Hall, a prominent 2600-seat theatre in Little Rock, in 2009. As the President and Founder of Entertainment Flooring Systems, Inc., Graves specialized in flooring products for dance and theatre from 2003 to 2008. Earlier positions include Product Manager at Rosco Labs and Field Supervisor at Pook Diemont & Ohl, Inc., focusing on theatrical rigging installations. Graves holds multiple degrees, including MFA in Production Management and Lighting Design from Yale University, and a BA in Theatre from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
