Jay Pursell

Jay Pursell is the current Chief Operating Officer at M&P Specialty Insurance. Prior to this, they were the CFO at Heart of Florida Insurance Group, LLC from 2016 to 2018. Pursell has also been an adjunct professor at Saint Louis University, where they created and instructed a course on data analysis, and a guest service supervisor at the Scottrade Center. Jay began their professional career as the President of COST Financial Group, Inc. in 1999.

Jay Pursell has a MBA in Business Administration from Webster University and a BS in Finance from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

Jay Pursell reports to Jason McElrath, President. and Linda Morris - Administrative Assistant reports to Jay Pursell. They are on a team with Dave McElrath - Vice President, Amy McElrath - Chief Financial Officer, and John Atkinson - Director of Marketing and Advertising.
