Nicholas Austin is a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in product design and improvement, specializing in injection molding, machining, and sheet metal technologies. Currently employed at MPI, Inc. since July 2017, Nicholas has successfully led the mechanical engineering efforts for various projects while utilizing rapid prototyping and SolidWorks design software to create complex parts and assemblies. Previously, Nicholas served as a Mechanical Engineer at JADAK from June 2015 to July 2017, focusing on the Photo Research product line. Early in Nicholas's career, a mechanical generalist internship at GE Power & Water provided valuable experience in large-scale manufacturing and compliance with safety procedures. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Hudson Valley Community College.
