Rosemary Ugboajah is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in brand development and marketing. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Neka Creative since April 2013, Rosemary leads a brand development agency focused on delivering authentic and impactful brand experiences. In addition to this role, Rosemary is a member of the Board of Trustees at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and serves on the Board of Directors for the mpls downtown council. As the founder of ArtWest, a global social enterprise supporting artists in West Africa, Rosemary demonstrates commitment to cultural initiatives. Previous experience includes co-founding Zydeco Design, working as a Senior Specialist at Target, and managing substantial accounts at leading marketing agencies. Rosemary holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota and an Art Diploma in Graphic Design from West Kensington College of Arts.

Founded in 1955, the mpls downtown council (mdc) is a membership-based entity that works to create an extraordinary downtown. mdc works in collaboration with approximately 440 current members, including businesses of all sizes. Our organization is built on leadership, collaboration, advocacy and innovation. mdc and its membership work toward achieving the goals of the Intersections: The Downtown 2025 Plan in hopes of building an even better downtown mpls for tomorrow. These goals include doubling downtown’s residential population, transforming Nicollet into a must-see destination, creating and sustaining a green infrastructure and showcasing the riverfront, leading the nation in transportation options, advocacy for building U.S. Bank Stadium, ending street homelessness and more.
