Lawrence Bywater has extensive work experience in the risk management and credit risk industry. Lawrence is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at MPowered Mortgages, a position they have held since September 2022. Before that, they worked as the Credit Risk Director and Interim COO at MPowered Mortgages from February 2022 to September 2022.
Prior to joining MPowered Mortgages, Lawrence Bywater worked at Molo as the Credit Risk Director from November 2020 to February 2022. Lawrence also held various roles at Vida Homeloans, including Head of Credit Risk Systems and Portfolio Analytics from January 2019 to November 2020, and Credit Risk Manager from June 2016 to January 2019.
Earlier in their career, Lawrence Bywater worked at Nationwide Building Society as a Risk Analyst Lead from April 2014 to June 2016, and at Santander UK Corporate & Commercial as Santander UK from December 2012 to April 2014.
Throughout their career, Lawrence Bywater has developed expertise in risk management, credit risk analysis, and portfolio analytics.
Lawrence Bywater obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Leicester, where they studied from 2008 to 2011.
