Nick Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nick began their career in 1997 as a Designer at Yorkshire Equipment Supplies, where they were responsible for large-scale commercial kitchen designs. Nick then worked as a Freelance Designer at RR Donnelley before joining PGK Advertising as a Senior Designer. In 2000, they served as a Senior Art Director at Leeds Guide Ltd and Union Press Ltd, where they managed creative and production departments, overseeing the publication of magazines and websites.
From 2000 to 2005, Nick Brown worked as a Creative Director at Content Kings, developing creative output for digital and print materials for various clients. Nick then joined KHWS as a Creative Director in 2012, leading creative digital design and development for mobile applications, websites, films, and motion graphics. In this role, they utilized behavioral science to create effective Brand Commerce marketing strategies.
In 2008, Nick founded their own company, Nick Brown Design, and took on the role of Creative Director. Here, they worked with leading brands such as GlaxoSmithKline, Virgin, and Condé Nast, managing creative output, UX, and technical development for digital and print materials.
Nick Brown's most recent experiences include serving as Chief Creative Officer at MQube, a next-generation mortgage company, and MPowered Mortgages. Throughout their career, Nick Brown has demonstrated expertise in creative direction, UX, and technical development, working on various projects ranging from mobile applications and websites to magazines, advertising, and marketing campaigns.
Nick Brown has a diverse education history. In 1990, they attended Harrogate College of Arts & Technology for two years where they pursued a degree in Art & Design. Following this, from 1992 to 1995, they studied Advertising Graphics at Leeds Arts University.
In recent years, Nick pursued further education in the field of UX Design. In 2018, they enrolled at Glasgow Caledonian University, where they studied UX Design for a year before completing their program in 2019.
In addition to their formal education, Nick has also obtained a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute in May 2019.
