Markus Ala-Hautala

Markus Ala-Hautala is the CEO of MPY Telecom, a regional infrastructure operator owned by Infranode, where they oversee fiber, towers, and data center businesses serving business and consumer customers. They bring nearly 20 years of executive leadership in digital infrastructure and previously held senior roles at Digita Oy, including responsibility for operational and commercial transformation during two private equity ownerships. They have chaired IslandsTurnar (2023–2024) and currently serve as Chairman of the Board at Misteli Fiber Oy (2025–Present), and they also served as Chairman of the Board at Radioputki Oy (2019–2022) and as a board member at Contribyte (2020–2021). They earned a Master’s Degree in Radiotechnology and Economics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu (1997–2003) and a Chemistry degree from the University of Helsinki (1994–2001), and completed Ownership and Board Member Competence training (2018) and Certified Board Member training (2021–2022).
