Simon Sakurai

Simon Sakurai has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. Simon started their career as a student project at Combitech Sverige in October 2015. Simon then continued as an integration developer and completed their bachelor thesis with the company from February 2016 to June 2016.

Following that, Simon joined Combitech Sverige as a software developer in September 2016 and worked there until August 2018. Their focus was on .NET and IoT, and they were part of a team that created an IoT platform in Microsoft Azure.

Simon then joined Jayway in August 2018 as a senior software engineer technical lead. Their responsibilities included backend development with a focus on cloud solutions, primarily using .NET and Go.

In January 2022, Simon moved to Sigma Technology Group as a senior software developer team lead. Simon worked there until April 2023, leading a team of developers and contributing to software development projects.

Currently, Simon is employed at Mpya Digital as a senior consultant starting from April 2023. No end date has been provided for this position.

Simon Sakurai has a diverse education history starting from high school to higher education. Simon attended Mikael Elias Teoretiska Gymnasium from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a technical education. Following that, from 2013 to 2016, Simon studied at Lund University, completing a Teknologie kandidatexamen (tekn.kand.) in Datateknik from The Faculty of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Datavetenskap from Lund University.

In addition to their formal education, Simon Sakurai obtained a certification called "AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical)" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
