Walid Kamel

Walid Kamel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Walid began their career as an Assistant President at Kharafi National in 2012. Walid then moved on to work as an Assistant Import and Export Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Retail – Carrefour, where they were responsible for managing stock levels, communicating with suppliers, and assisting the commercial teams. Walid later became a Project Manager for the 1,000,000 Ramadan boxes project, overseeing the planning and execution of the project. Kamel then joined Kelma Consulting and Training Ltd. as a Project Coordinator, offering advisory and support services to traditional businesses and local companies. Walid then worked as a Business Developer at Transatel, a global cellular connectivity provider, and EVINA, a cybersecurity company. Walid gained experience in investment roles at Flat6Labs and Tawaref, where they connected high-growth companies with angel investors. Recently, Kamel worked for Cassbana as the New Verticals and Business Development Manager, focusing on empowering underserved MSMEs. Walid is currently the Head of Expansion at both The GrEEK Campus and MQR.

Walid Kamel obtained their Bachelor's degree in finance and economics from The German University in Cairo in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at MSE, specializing in mathematics in the French section from 1994 to 2007. In 2013, they attended the Regional IT Institute for a preparation course in project management. From 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Development at Grenoble Ecole de Management. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Asking Great Sales Questions" and "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn in 2020.
