Karin Joubert currently serves as the General Manager of Finance at Chen Foods since October 2021, previously holding the position of Finance Manager. Prior to this role, Karin had an extensive tenure at Simplot Australia Pty Ltd from February 2010 to September 2021, progressing through various financial roles including Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and multiple Commercial Finance Partner positions. Other professional experiences include serving as Senior Audit Manager and Audit Manager at PwC, a Project Accountant at CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation, and a Financial Manager at Marlborough Stirling South Africa. Karin's education includes an Honours B.Comm in Management Accounting and an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science, both obtained from the University of Stellenbosch and the University of South Africa, respectively.

Founded in 1982 by Peter Chen, Chen Foods is a family owned Australian business now run by daughters Lucy and Nancy Chen. While Mr Chen remains at the helm of the organisation, he has passed his legacy on to the next generation to run the operations. The company was renamed from Chenco Foods to Chen Foods and under the new business, Lucy and Nancy have continued to honour their family origins, naming their favourite & most popular brand after the one and only head of the house, Mr Chen. Chen Foods is a wholly Australian owned and run family business and continues to provide the highest quality produce and recipes to the Australian market.
