Emily Balson

Emily Balson has extensive experience in risk and compliance, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Risk and Compliance at Mr. Cooper since October 2014, after progressing through various roles including Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Operational Risk. Prior to Mr. Cooper, Emily worked at Springleaf Financial Services as Manager of Operational Controls and Quality, and at GMAC/Residential Capital Corporation as Portfolio Supervisor. Emily's career began at Bank of America as an Account Executive. Emily holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington, earned in 2005.
