Hammad Haqqani

Hammad Haqqani has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and DevOps. Hammad started their career as a Test Engineer at Hewlett-Packard in 2010, where they worked on testing processes and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. In 2014, they became an AWS Architect Devops Engineer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Contractor, where they managed and created development and test environments on the AWS cloud.

In 2016, Hammad joined Accenture Federal Services as a Software Engineer, where they provided functional testing capabilities for complex applications developed using Pega systems. Hammad also worked closely with the product owner and stakeholders to understand user requirements and create and execute test cases.

In 2017, Hammad became a Senior Devops Engineer at Capital One, where they played a key role in supporting the company's architectural direction towards cloud deployments. Hammad built and deployed Docker containers, created and maintained CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Spinnaker, and actively managed and monitored cloud infrastructure on AWS. Hammad also conducted Ansible installation and maintenance for infrastructure automation.

Hammad continued their DevOps journey in 2019, first as a DevOps Consultant at AH.Pegasus, where they provided consulting services, and then as a Senior DevOps Technical Lead at Mr. Cooper. In their role at Mr. Cooper, they provided DevOps thought leadership and mentoring, and also designed and architected deployment pipelines to support the transition of application and infrastructure services from development to production.

Overall, Hammad has a strong background in DevOps, with expertise in areas such as cloud deployments, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and software testing.

Hammad Haqqani completed their high school education at Cypress Ridge High School from 2007 to 2010, where they received a High School Diploma with a focus on Computer Science. Hammad then attended the University of Houston-Downtown from 2010 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Computer and Information Systems. Hammad Haqqani also holds several additional certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services, which they obtained in January 2020. Hammad also earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional 2019 certification from A Cloud Guru. Furthermore, Hammad Haqqani is a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
