Michael Stubbe

Michael Stubbe has extensive experience in post-closing and collateral management within the mortgage and banking industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Post Closing at both Mr. Cooper and Nationstar Mortgage since 2013, responsibilities include managing collateral receipt and shipping, as well as clearing collateral exceptions within service level agreements. Prior roles include Doc Custodian/Lien Release Manager at Metlife Bank, where oversight included managing a team of 30 and ensuring compliance with agency guidelines. Additional experience includes supervisory roles at BNY Mellon and First Tennessee Bank, focusing on document management and operational efficiencies. Michael Stubbe also served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, where leadership and personnel training were key responsibilities. Education includes coursework in Business Administration and Management at Dallas College.
