Louis Brand has worked in the IT industry since 1995. Louis began their career as a System Administrator for Sprint Cellular in 1995. Louis then worked as a Translations Engineer for Alltel in 1996 and was promoted to Senior Translations Engineer in 1998. In 1999, they joined Motorola as a Senior System Engineer, where they led projects and systems engineering in 10 of 35 markets. In 2010, they became an Independent Contractor, installing residential wireless networks and troubleshooting computer and wireless device issues. Louis also worked as a Project Manager for Axis Teknologies, Product Manager and Project Manager & Shipping and Receiving for Pro Access Systems, and Customer Event Representative and Bartender for Tasty Catering. In 2016, they joined AVI-SPL as a Project Manager and in 2018 they began working as a Technical Support Analyst and IT Specialist - Contractor for M&R Electronic Systems, Inc.

Louis Brand began their educational career in 1986 when they graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in History. In 2012, they attended Advanced Computer Training and Professional Bartending Schools, where they received no degree but gained knowledge in Agile Scrum and qualified as a Mixologist respectively. In 2014, they took a course in Core Concepts of Project Management at DePaul University. In 2017, they obtained an OSHA 30 - Construction Safety and Health certification from OSHA. In 2018, they were certified as an Axis Certified Professional by Axis Communications.
