Pain Mashingaidze's work experience begins in 2012 as a Mathematics Facilitator for the Department of Education MEC Weekend Workshops. In 2013, they become a Lead Educator for the KZN Department of Education. From 2011 to 2014, Pain works as a Mathematics Moderator for the lLembe District. Pain then becomes a Mathematics and Computer Applications Technology Educator at Dumane Commercial High School from 2009 to 2015. In 2015, they briefly work as a Mathematics and Technology Educator at Interfellowship Christian School and as a Physical Sciences and Tech Educator at Mbuyiselo High School. Pain also works as a Mathematics Facilitator for ORT South Africa during the same year. Pain joins the Mr Price Foundation in 2016 as a Tech-Ed Facilitator and later takes on the role of Regional Coordinator in 2018. In 2019, they become a Program Coordinator for the Foundation's Schools Program, and finally, in 2021, they are promoted to Program Head - MR Price Foundation Schools Program.
Pain Mashingaidze's education history begins in 2004 when they attended Midlands State University in Zimbabwe, where they earned a Bachelor of Science Mathematics Honours Degree in Mathematical Sciences, completing their studies in 2008. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Education specifically in Mathematics Education at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. In 2013, they obtained an ICDL certification in Ms Office 2007 from Innovtus FET College. They later returned to the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2015 to 2019 and completed a Bachelor of Sciences in Financial Accounting, focusing on Accounting and Finance. In 2019, they acquired a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from Philanthropy University. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained two additional certifications: Creating a Theory of Change and Planning for Monitoring and Evaluation from Philanthropy University.
