August Baur

August Baur is currently the Director, SCM - Gas Products at MRC Global. Prior to that, Baur worked as a Category Manager at Duke Energy Corporation and as a Sourcing Specialist at Piedmont Natural Gas. Baur also has experience as a Military Customer Support & Logistics Programs Analyst at United Technologies and as a Process Engineer at SGL Carbon. Baur holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Corporate Finance from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Baur has led process improvement projects and designed product specification measurement machines for specialized testing.
