Dize Hacioglu

CTO at mRelief

Dize Hacioglu has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as an intern at the Center for Anti-Bullying and Anti-Violence, where they contributed to website expansion, filmed informational videos, and created activities for children's psychological development. In 2013, they worked as an IT intern at Jimmy Choo, providing technical support and updating software.

In 2014, Dize joined RefactorU as a Project Manager/Analyst, managing customer service, conducting analytic reports, and spearheading marketing efforts. They also developed and maintained the company website and managed marketing campaigns. They also worked as a Research Assistant at New York University during this time.

From 2014 to 2015, Dize worked as a Web Development Intern at Third Stripe, where they developed a promotional website and designed the online store. They also conducted research on e-commerce platforms and managed project timelines.

In 2015, Dize joined Galvanize Inc as a Software Engineer, developing and maintaining a Learning Management System/Code Learning Environment used by Galvanize students. They also contributed to developing Galvanize's rebranded website, including the application, geolocation technology, and microservices. Additionally, Dize served as a Web Development Instructor, teaching various topics and hosting Learn-to-Code Meetups.

Since 2017, Dize has been working at mRelief, initially as a Software Developer, and later as the CTO. In their role as CTO, they focused on addressing enrollment challenges for SNAP and ensuring that food stamp benefits are claimed.

Dize Hacioglu received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Computer Science from New York University, attending from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they also briefly attended Trinity College Dublin, focusing on Psychology and Programming but did not complete a degree. Prior to their university studies, Dize graduated from Fairview High School in 2010, earning a High School Diploma.
