Smarak Das

Smarak Das is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of Information Security at MRI Software since September 2023, Smarak previously held the title of Director of Global Consulting and Lead Cyber Security at World Informatix Cyber Security from April 2021 to September 2023. Smarak also worked at Grant Thornton Limited as an Assistant Manager and at Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Associate between 2018 and 2021. Prior to that, Smarak was an Advisory Consultant at IBM India Private Limited and a Consultant at Happiest Minds Technologies. Smarak began a career in cybersecurity as a Senior IT Security Analyst at IBM, focusing on health check and patch management. Education includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
