Jack Nichelson has over 20 years of work experience in the Information Technology field. Jack began their career in 1996 as the IT Manager for ValueNet, Inc., a subsidiary of Sky Bank. In 2000, they took on the role of Network & Server Security Specialist for the United States Department of Defense. In 2003, Jack became the IT Security Integration Engineer for National City. Jack then moved on to LOGOS Communications, Inc. in 2008, where they were the Practice Lead for Pre-Sales Network & Security Engineering. In 2010, Jack became the Director of Global Information Security for GrafTech International. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Senior Adjunct Instructor for The Sage Group. Jack then joined Chart Industries, Inc. in 2014 as the Director of IT Infrastructure & Security. In 2017, they became the Director of IT Infrastructure & Engineering for Medical Mutual. Jack'smost recent role was Chief Information Security Officer for Inversion6, which they started in 2018.

Jack Nichelson has a comprehensive educational background. Jack obtained a B.S.A.S. from Youngstown State University between 1997 and 2003, with a focus in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration. Jack then attended the FBI Citizens' Academy in 2012, where they earned a Leadership degree in Organizational Leadership. Finally, in 2012-2014, Jack earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Baldwin Wallace University, with a focus in Systems approach to executive management. In addition, Jack has obtained a number of certifications, including Implementing and Auditing the Critical Security Controls from the SANS Institute in 2014, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Case Western Reserve University in 2013, and Tenable Certified Security Engineer - SecurityCenter from Tenable Network Security in 2012.
