Lawrie Davidson

Lawrie Davidson began their work experience as a Team Leader at Integral Marketing Pty Ltd in 2010. They then worked as a Cook at Base Backpackers before transitioning to a Brands Agent role at H&M. From 2014 to 2015, Lawrie worked as a Mortgage Officer at Lloyds Banking Group. They then moved on to a role as a Pension Administrator at Standard Life Wealth from 2015 to 2016, where they gained proficiency in various software programs. In 2016, they worked as an Events Intern at WeAreTheFuture before joining Appetite Direct as a Function Event Manager from 2015 to 2019. From 2017 to 2019, Lawrie also worked as an Event Manager and later as a Creative Lead at FutureX, where they were responsible for brand development and event design. Lawrie then attended CodeClan, a 16-week bootcamp, where they trained to become a Software Engineer. They completed over 800 hours of coaching, group projects, and solo learning, and worked on various projects including a restaurant booking app. Currently, Lawrie is a Junior Software Developer at MRM Global starting in 2022.

Lawrie Davidson attended Abertay University from 2010 to 2013, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Arts, specializing in Animation and Game Design. From 2015 to 2017, Lawrie studied at Queen Margaret University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Events Management, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In 2022, Lawrie furthered their education at CodeClan, completing a Professional Software Development program and a Web Development Essentials course.
