From design to production, we manage the manufacturing of screws, barrels, complete plasticizing units, and other components connected to the plasticizing process.

Plasticizing Screws: production, design, and customization. We manufacture plasticizing screws based on customer drawings and/or developed through our design expertise, using a wide range of geometries and metallurgical solutions.

Barrels: we produce plasticizing barrels in different metallurgical configurations, with nitrided steels or bimetallic technology, ensuring long-term wear resistance. Our extensive metallurgical know-how is at the service of the customer to provide the most suitable solutions for each production process.

Complete Plasticizing Units: end-to-end design and manufacturing of complete plasticizing units, tailored to the customer’s needs and requirements, for extrusion and injection processes.

Other Components: thanks to its highly specialized in-house workshop, M.R.S. Italia is able to manufacture all the mechanical components of a plasticizing unit, including: feeding sections, sleeves, hopper bodies, tips, bushings, extrusion head components, and much more.
