Leah Lacivita

Leah LaCivita is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in writing, editing, and nonprofit management. Currently serving as a Communications Coordinator at MRSC since September 2016, Leah previously worked as a Science Writer for the Institute for Translational Health Services and as a Science Editor at the University of Washington's School of Nursing. Leah's earlier roles include Operations Associate at Community Orchard of West Seattle, Director of Development & Member Services at the Northwest Regional Primary Care Association, Regional Manager for Hostelling International USA, and Director of Development for the YMCA of Greater Seattle and Hard Hatted Women. Leah's education includes a Master's in Nonprofit Organizations from Case Western Reserve University, along with degrees in Art History and Anthropology from Kent State University, and multiple certificates from the University of Washington.
