Matius Andy Widjaja

Matius Andy Widjaja has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Matius Andy started their career as an Assistant Estimating Engineer at Turner Construction Company in 2002, where they were responsible for soliciting and reviewing subcontractor quotations and coordinating with the owner and architect for project approvals. Matius Andy then moved on to Davis Langdon, Inc., where they worked as a Cost Consultant from 2006 to 2011. In this role, they provided cost estimation and analysis for various projects.

In 2011, Matius joined PT. Langdon & Seah Indonesia, an Arcadis Company, as a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor. Here, they were involved in the preparation of tender documents, including Bills of Quantities, and produced reports and certificates for progress payments. Matius Andy also evaluated variations and claims for additional time and costs.

From 2017 to 2018, Matius served as a Commercial Manager at PT. Jagat Konstruksi Abdipersada. Matius Andy led a team of Quantity Surveyors and managed the Spark shopping mall project in Jakarta. Matius Andy was responsible for various tasks, including preparing payment applications, progress reports, and payment certificates for subcontractors. Matius Andy also reviewed contract conditions and attended tender clarification meetings.

Matius Andy Widjaja pursued their education in the field of Civil Engineering. Matius Andy completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they went on to earn their Master of Science (MS) degree at Virginia Tech, specializing in Civil Engineering, from 2000 to 2003.
