Brian O'Connor is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in optical networking and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Optical & Network Transport Engineer at Techgardens since July 2019 and as a Senior Network Engineer at ADVA Optical Networking since August 2017, Brian also holds a long tenure at MRV Communications as a Systems Engineer since 2006. Prior roles include Technical Support Manager at Altrio Communications and VP of Customer Support at ACT Networks, among others. Brian's educational background includes an Associate of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from Pierce College and certification as a Metro Ethernet Forum Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional from Ethernet Academy.
