Alan Lightsey

Alan Lightsey has extensive experience in the directional drilling sector, currently serving as the Manager of Systems & Digital at MS Directional since March 2022. Prior to this role, Alan held several positions at MS Energy Services from July 2014 to June 2022, including Guidance Operations Technical Evaluation Center (GOTEC) Manager and Specialist, as well as Independent Contractor - MWD Field Specialist, where responsibilities included operating proprietary MWD tools and analyzing down-hole data for horizontal well applications. Earlier experience includes a position as MWD Field Specialist at MS Energy Services and a student internship as an Office Assistant at Black Warrior Solid Waste Authority, focusing on environmental testing and regulatory compliance. Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geological and Earth Sciences from The University of Alabama.
