Rickey Gard Diamond is an experienced writer and editor with a robust background in women's economics, journalism, and higher education. Currently, Rickey serves as a columnist for Ms. Magazine, focusing on women's economics through the "Women Unscrewing Screwnomics" column. As a co-creator of Screwnomics.org, Rickey also contributes to discussions surrounding women's economic issues. With a long-standing role as Senior Contributing Editor for Vermont Woman Publications, Rickey's involvement dates back to the magazine's founding in 1985, and includes a significant editorial transition in 2011. Rickey's academic career features roles as a professor at Union Institute & University and Norwich University, and significant contributions were made in community activism through positions at Central Vermont Community Action. Rickey holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a BA in Writing and Literature from Goddard College.
