Eric Schmidt

Eric Schmidt has had extensive work experience in the engineering and project management field. Eric is currently working as a Principal Project Manager at MSA Professional Services since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Engineer/Project Manager at Bloom Companies, LLC from January 2021 to August 2022. Eric also gained experience at Kimley-Horn, where they held multiple roles including Transportation Engineer, Transportation Engineering Analyst, and Civil Engineering Intern from 2012 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Structural Engineering Intern at SAIC in 2011, where they focused on structural analysis and shop drawing review for Walmart and 3M projects. Eric began their career at Mandinec Group Landscaping as a Landscaper/Laborer from 2009 to 2010 and later served as an Engineering Mentor Intern at Enclos Corp in 2007.

Eric Schmidt attended Iowa State University from 2008 to 2012, where they studied Civil Engineering and pursued a minor in Sales Engineering. In 2010, they briefly enrolled at the University of Newcastle to further their studies in Civil Engineering. Before their university education, Eric attended Eagan Senior High School from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained Professional Engineer (PE) certifications from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure in 2021 and the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID in 2017.
