Regional Manager - Public Works at MSA

Scott serves as the regional manager for MSA’s Public Works service line in the firm’s northern region. In this role, he leads multiple teams of professionals in the development and expansion of street, water, wastewater, stormwater housing and general municipal work.

Boasting more than three decades of municipal engineering experience, Scott has completed a wide range of construction projects and sanitary sewer, water and roadway designs for communities in north-central Wisconsin.

Among his specialties, Scott helps communities obtain grants and funding. Specifically, he led a $14 million project in Washburn, Wis., that entailed sewer, water and road reconstruction of 110 city blocks over a four-year period. In addition to completing the project on time and on budget, Scott helped the community obtain grants to pay for 75 percent of the cost.

Some other areas of expertise for Scott include urban street construction, water distribution system modeling, site planning and grading plan design. In the Wisconsin City of Antigo, Scott managed a riverfront redevelopment project that transformed an industrial area into a community park by adding landscaping, bike paths, ample power for festivals and decorative street lighting.

Scott, who currently resides in Tomahawk, Wis., earned a chemical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin and Michigan.
