Celeste Hort

Celeste Hort currently serves as Principal Engineer II at MSA - The Safety Company, a position held since January 2014, focused on the selection, evaluation, and analysis of materials and technologies for product development. With a career at MSA beginning in February 1999, Celeste has progressed through various roles, including Innovation and Technology Manager, where responsibilities included managing the development of innovations and intellectual property strategies. Previous positions held include Principal Engineer II, Principal Engineer in the Material Science group, Plant Manager, and Engineering Manager, demonstrating a robust expertise in materials selection, project management, and lean manufacturing. Celeste Hort holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Science and Engineering from Penn State University.
