Douglas Koffler

Douglas Koffler is a Principal Engineer specializing in Plastics Tooling at Mine Safety Appliance since June 2006, with a history of successful project management that includes the timely launch of a Covid-19 support initiative and significant cost savings on plastic tooling projects. Previously, Koffler served as Engineering Manager at Allegheny Performance Plastics® where responsibilities included leading a team to develop new tooling and processes, as well as implementing ISO/QS9000 procedures. Koffler's technical expertise in managing injection molding projects spans various industries, supported by a B.S. in Plastics Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus.
