Cecilia Hull Wiklund

Cecilia Hull Wiklund is a seasoned professional in international project management and analysis, currently serving as the Coordinating Project Leader for Support to Ukraine at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) since January 2024. Prior to this role, Cecilia was the Project Manager for Afghanistan at the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) from August 2018 to January 2024. Earlier experience includes leadership and analytical roles at the Total Defence Research Institute (FOI), where Cecilia held positions such as Team Leader for Studies in African Security and Senior Analyst from October 2014 to August 2018, and Analyst, contributing to projects on command and control and African peace and security architecture. Cecilia also gained valuable experience as a Consultant for the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight, focusing on programme evaluation for UNMIL from September 2009 to February 2010. Academic credentials include a Master of International Studies with a focus on Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies from London Metropolitan University.
