Fred Furtado

Fred Furtado is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Associate Manager of IT Fleet Services Management at MSC Cruises since April 2024. Previously, Fred held the position of IT Fleet Supervisor at Carnival Cruise Line from September 2009 to June 2023, where oversight of IT operations for the entire Carnival Fleet was a key responsibility, along with managing and mentoring a team of approximately 95 assistants. In an earlier role as Senior Information Technology Officer, Fred managed the onboard corporate IT environment, provided client support, and oversaw infrastructure management, including hardware repairs and server backups. Fred Furtado holds a Master's in Science of Information Technology from S.P. Chowgule College, Goa University (2006-2008) and a Bachelor's in Computer Applications from Shri Damodar College, Goa University (2003-2006).
