Matthew McKinnon is a seasoned leader in environmental and sustainable development initiatives, currently serving as the Founder and Executive Director of Aroha, a non-profit organization in Geneva since October 2017. McKinnon chairs the Advisory Board of the MSC Foundation, providing strategic guidance to enhance its effectiveness. As a Senior Advisor at the Global Center on Adaptation, McKinnon supports the Climate Vulnerable Forum and Vulnerable Twenty Ministers of Finance, drawing on extensive experience as an advisor to these groups and a project manager at UNDP. McKinnon's prior roles include leading the creation of the MSC Foundation and managing climate-related initiatives at DARA International and the Global Humanitarian Forum. McKinnon holds advanced degrees from the University of Cambridge, Geneva Graduate Institute, and Victoria University of Wellington.
