Hendrik Schafstall

As managing director and CEO, Dr. Schafstall is responsible for leading the company. Together with his partner Michael Wohlmuth, he founded the FEMUTEC engineering firm in May of 1995 - the modern day Simufact Engineering GmbH. Prior to the company founding, he was employed as a research associate at the Helmut-Schmidt-University of Hamburg, obtaining his doctorate researching friction models in cold massive forming. Previously, he was a mechanical engineering student at the Leibniz University of Hannover and received a diploma as a graduate engineer.
