Andrew Demond

Andrew DeMond has extensive experience in quantitative finance, currently serving as Managing Director at MSCI Inc. since July 2008, focusing on Multi-Asset Class Factor Research incorporating Fixed Income, Private Assets, and advancements in AI/ML and NLP. Prior to this role, Andrew held positions as Executive Director and Vice President, where responsibilities included market risk validation and coverage, as well as securitized products risk and valuation. Earlier in the career, Andrew worked as a Senior Associate and Associate in Fixed Income Research. Andrew earned a PhD in Biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Physics from Reed College.
