Shelley Cook

Shelley Cook is an experienced leader in strategy and performance management within the public sector, currently serving as the Manager Strategy & Performance at the Ministry of Social Development since January 2021. Prior roles include Principal Advisor Strategy & Performance at the same ministry, Chief Operating Officer at the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand, and strategic leadership positions at the Ministry of Education and earlier at the Ministry of Social Development. Cook has a strong background in procurement, operational management, and policy implementation, having successfully led teams and managed substantial budgets in various roles.
