Duana Matsacos

Duana Matsacos is an accomplished professional in the field of quality assurance and compliance within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as Associate Director Quality at MSD Australia & New Zealand since August 2023, Duana previously held several key positions at MSD from December 2016 to September 2023, including Site Compliance and Regional Support and Site Quality Manager. Earlier experience includes roles at MSD Animal Health as QA Manager and Quality Assurance Team Lead, where responsibilities encompassed leading the batch release team and overseeing raw materials and product releases. Duana also gained experience as a QA Project Officer and Research Scientist, focusing on vaccine development and quality control. Duana's career commenced at CSL as a Quality Associate from February 2004 to July 2010. Duana holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biotechnology from RMIT University and a Master's degree in Biopharmaceuticals from the University of New South Wales.
