Carolina García Villegas

Carolina García Villegas has a diverse work experience. Carolina started their career as a Project Intern at Fundación Materialización 3D in Colombia in 2016, where they worked on developing a prototype of a double perfusor to support the development of a 3D bioprinter.

In 2017, they joined MSD as a Clinical Data Manager. Carolina collaborated actively in the data extraction for Interim Analyses for regulatory submissions and implemented quality strategies for multiple studies.

Carolina later advanced to the role of Senior Clinical Data Manager, where they coordinated the Renal Oncology study team and supported Oncology studies Start Ups teams with multiple deliverables. Carolina then became a Subject Matter Expert at the Oncology Therapeutic Area Standards Team, responsible for developing and updating oncologic data management tools.

In 2019, Carolina took on the role of Subject Matter Expert at Standards Global Data Operations. Carolina designed and developed a tool to organize team tasks and projects, led collaborative training sessions for the Colombia DMC, and improved delivery times by identifying project metrics.

Currently, Carolina is working at MSD Switzerland as an Associate Director of Clinical Data Management. Carolina'sresponsibilities in this role are ongoing, and more information about their specific duties is not provided.

Carolina García Villegas attended Universidad El Bosque from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Carolina successfully earned their Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering during this time.
