Patricia Figueira has a diverse work experience in the IT and pharmaceutical fields. Patricia started their career at Farmácia Luciano e Matos as a Pharmacist from January 2012 to June 2012. Later, they worked as a Hospital Pharmacist Trainee at Centro Hospitalar de Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro (CHTMAD) from November 2012 to February 2013. Patricia then joined Pharsolution - Pharmaceutical Consulting as a Pharmacovigilance, Literature Search & Scientific Officer from February 2013 to September 2014. Patricia was responsible for various activities including drug product creation, literature search, case processing, and report preparation.
In 2014, Patricia joined MSD, where they held multiple roles. Patricia initially worked as an IT Business Analyst Specialist from October 2014 to May 2018. Patricia then served as a Senior IT Business Analyst and Manager from June 2018 to March 2020, followed by the role of Product Owner from March 2020 to February 2021. In these positions, Patricia played a pivotal role in defining and creating digital products for the Real World Evidence IT ecosystem. Patricia prioritized features, maximized product value, and focused on business KPIs throughout the product lifecycle.
From February 2021 to March 2022, Patricia worked as a Senior IT Product Manager at MSD, where they led the Clinical IT ecosystem. Patricia set up the product vision, identified and prioritized features for maximum business value, and executed company-wide Agile transformation.
Currently, Patricia is an Associate Director - IT Product Manager at MSD Switzerland, starting from April 2022 onwards. In their current role, they help product managers find the best solutions to deliver value to the business units and supports the IT organization in adopting a product mindset.
Patricia Figueira's education history is as follows:
- From 2007 to 2012, they attended Universidade de Coimbra and obtained a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

- As for certifications, they obtained the "Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC)" from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in April 2022.
- In August 2017, Patricia obtained the "ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management" from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
- Patricia also holds a "Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt" certification, although specific details regarding the institution and date of acquisition are unavailable.
