Sebastian Bubendorfer

Sebastian Bubendorfer is an accomplished professional in the field of quality control and microbiology. Currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Quality Control for Human Health at MSD Deutschland since January 2020, Sebastian has a solid background that includes previous roles such as Manager QC and Lead of Human Health Quality Control. Prior experience includes a position as Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health and a Postdoctoral role in Bacteriology. Sebastian's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology from both the IMPRS-Mic at Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology and The Philipp University of Marburg, where a Master’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Bachelor’s in Biology were also obtained.
