Gilbert Rochon

Gilbert Rochon is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Global Health Management & Policy at Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. They have served as the Director of the Urban Studies & Public Policy Institute at Dillard University and as the 6th President of Tuskegee University. Since 2014, Gilbert has been a Senior Consultant with MSF Global Solutions, LLC and is currently an Executive Search Consultant with Academic Career and Executive Search. With a strong background in research and community planning, they also advocate for environmental justice as Advocacy Manager for the Public Laboratory for Open Technology & Science. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Xavier University of Louisiana, a Master of Public Health from Yale University, and a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
