Art Hurtado is an experienced professional in logistics and safety training, currently serving as a Motorcycle Safety Instructor - RiderCoach at the Motorcycle Safety Foundation since June 2013. Previously, Art held the position of Manager - Distribution and Operations at BOMBARDIER from February 2012 to June 2017, overseeing compliance in Parts Logistics and related departments with various regulations. Prior to BOMBARDIER, Art worked as an Import/Export Manager at Amsted Rail Company, Inc. from August 2009 to February 2012, and as a Traffic Manager - Trade Compliance at Siemens from January 2004 to June 2009, where responsibilities included managing logistics operations and ensuring compliance in trade. Education was attained at Northern Illinois University.

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation® is the internationally recognized developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System (MSF RETS). RETS curricula promotes lifelong-learning for motorcyclists and continuous professional development for certified RiderCoaches and other trainers. MSF also actively participates in government relations, safety research, public awareness campaigns and the provision of technical assistance to state training and licensing programs. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a national, not-for-profit organization sponsored by BMW, BRP, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha.
