Mike Saylor is an experienced professional with a diverse background in instruction, facilities coordination, and law enforcement. Since May 2019, Mike Saylor has served as a Course Instructor at the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Prior to this role, Mike Saylor held positions as Facilities Coordinator and Purchasing Manager at Acutronic Power Systems from April 2020 to July 2024. Mike Saylor retired after a lengthy career with the Harford County Sheriff Office, where Mike Saylor served as a Lieutenant from July 1988 to April 2020. Earlier in Mike Saylor's career, service as a Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Coast Guard occurred from September 1983 to June 1988.

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation® is the internationally recognized developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System (MSF RETS). RETS curricula promotes lifelong-learning for motorcyclists and continuous professional development for certified RiderCoaches and other trainers. MSF also actively participates in government relations, safety research, public awareness campaigns and the provision of technical assistance to state training and licensing programs. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a national, not-for-profit organization sponsored by BMW, BRP, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha.
