Andreas Kuschel has extensive work experience in the banking and IT consulting industry. Andreas is currently working as the Head of Department, IT-Consulting for Commercial Banks and Central Institutions at msg for banking ag since May 2019. Prior to this, they served as a Principal Project Manager for large ISO20022 Transformation Projects and Delivery Manager for Payments Consulting Projects at the same company from October 2019 to April 2023.

Before joining msg for banking ag, Andreas worked at Capgemini as a Senior IT Transformation Manager from 2017 to September 2019. Andreas also gained experience at EBA CLEARING as an Operations Specialist, where they focused on STEP2/EURO1 payment operations and service integration of SEPA SCC during the SEPA Migration Phase from 2013 to 2017.

Andreas has also worked at adesso AG as a Senior Consultant in Financial Services from 2012 to 2013, and at Capgemini as a Senior Software Engineer from 2008 to 2012. Andreas started their career as a Solution Architect at ePMG Ltd. in 2005, and also served as a Student Trainee at Deutsche Bank from 2003 to 2005.

Andreas Kuschel completed their education at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Diplom Informatiker (TU) degree in the field of Informatik. Andreas also attended the University of Helsinki from 2005 to 2006, focusing on Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Andreas holds various certifications including AWS Solutions Architect Associate, IREB Requirement Engineering - Foundation Level, Certified Scrum Master (PSM I), and ISTQB® Certified Tester. Andreas is also enrolled in the msg Leadership Program, scheduled to be completed in 2023.
