Dharmapal Wankhede

Dharmapal Wankhede has extensive experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Dharmapal is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Msheireb Properties, leading the technology objectives for the world's first sustainable downtown regeneration project in Doha. Prior to this, they held the position of Head O&M - Smart City and Telecom Division at Larsen & Toubro, where they managed various smart city and telecom projects for the government of India and state governments. Dharmapal also worked at Tata Teleservices, Alcatel-Lucent, Bharti Airtel Limited, TATA Communications Ltd., In2Cable(India) Limited, and Multivison Computer Consultancy, holding various leadership roles in network operations, sales, and project management.

Dharmapal Wankhede completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics & Communication from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vishnupuri, Nanded in 1993. Dharmapal then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Ahmedabad Management Association AMA Ahmedabad in 2005-2006, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, Dharmapal Wankhede obtained their HSC degree in Science and Electronics from Somalwar Academy Education Society.

Dharmapal has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2011, Dharmapal completed an Executive Business Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. In 2015, they participated in the Global Leadership Development Program at TMTC Pune. Later, in 2016, they completed an Executive Leadership Program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Dharmapal Wankhede further expanded their expertise by achieving a Certified International Project & Program Manager certification from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019. Additionally, they completed the Global Leadership Development Programme from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2020. In 2023, they obtained certifications in IT and Cybersecurity Risk Management Essential Training and Management Excellence at Microsoft: Model, Coach, Care, both from LinkedIn.
